A whimsical design that attempts to capture the light-heartedness of a spring morning - the act of preparing one's breakfast and anticipating a joyful meal in the soft sunlight after. The piece is meant to evoke the restfulness of a calm morning and the contentment of starting a day right. The illustration emulates rough, freehand sketches to capture the simplicity of the concept.
Project: morning
Spring Morning was conceptualized as a study in being present through the routine. The sparse but vibrant illustrations, disconnected yet emotive quotes, and the quiet and understated design are all inspired by the experience of finding joy by focusing on the present moment.
